Showcase is a Canadian English-language Category A specialty channel owned by Shaw Media. Showcase predominantly airs works of fiction, centered on scripted television series and films.
Showcase hired Simon Barry and Pat Williams to develop Continuum for the Canadian market, and later distributed the show in the United States on Syfy.
